Job Overview:


Our client is a leading multi-discipline engineering company with operations all across Alberta’s oil & gas industry.  Due to continued success they have created this position so the owner-management team can pursue technological & business development.

We are looking for someone to manage a multi-party group of surveyors up to 12.  These project will primarily consist of oil & gas and pipeline surveys, but we require legal certification (or the ability to recertify) as an Alberta Lands Surveyor.  Other Provincial Lands Surveyors will be considered and the existing ownership team will provide tremendous resources to acclimatize you to Alberta’s energy sector.

Job Requirements:

5 years (or more) experience in land surveying – ideally on oil & gas projects.
A desire to be a leader on a team of innovators
Experience leading teams at various skill levels.
Self directed and able to work on several projects at once. 
Previous experience dealing with clients by using service focused methods
