Job Overview
Our client is looking for a power systems electrician for their southern Alberta operations. Covering a central territory you’ll be responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of sub-stations and high voltage equipment.

This permanent full time position carries a Best In Class compensation and benefits package. You’ll also be offered family orientated time-off and vacation structures as well as being provided a very attractive relocation package for out of province candidates.

Opportunities to advance are endless with this large utility. You can move into foreman status or complex distribution networks within a one year period.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will be a journeyed power systems electrician with sub-station experience.

Some vocational training and/or experience in the operation and maintenance of generating units with two years practical and industry-related experience.

Experience with computer-based applications such as Word and Excel.

The company also requires a class 1 driver’s license and a valid first aid certificate - these can be completed prior to the start date.
