Job Overview
Our client is an international player in utility & high voltage contracting and they are looking for someone to lead their British Columbia business unit.  This position will have you responsible for operations, project execution and business development aspects, leading the growth of the business and the team. 

It is an exciting prospect for someone who wants to take their field experience to the next level, using your trade leadership and scars from the field to motivate and lead an office staff.

Our client is an existing player on the market with huge potential growth.  You’ll be offered a great deal of autonomy to execute plans developed between you & management.  That said, you will have tremendous resources to follow through on goals & objectives.

Job Requirements
Professional Engineer’s certification, CET or IP certification in the Powerline or Power Systems Engineer trade

10 years or more of experience  - ideally blending field & office responsibilities

Supervisory experience is strongly desired, however leadership traits can be nurtured internally. 

Exceptional communication & business development skills

Professional & warm interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, vendors, management, co-workers and subordinates

A commitment to ongoing personal development and the development of your team

A ‘can-do’ attitude with the priority of making a difference in the industry
