Job Overview
Our client is an established manufacturer on an innovative covering for high voltage applications.  This is a unique patented product meant to improve reliability of substations & distribution equipment and avoid interruptions from natural phenomena. 
They have an existing market in Canada along with huge recent growth into the US and have tasked CMS to find a sales manager to cover their North American market. 

This position will involve roughly 50% travel time, meeting with new & existing clients with the balance of your time working with in-house engineering to develop solutions for clients. 

We are looking for someone who understands the high voltage & utility market business cycle and who has demonstrated experience penetrating the OEM markets.  In turn, this position offers huge advancement as your territory grows as well as a great compensation package and the opportunity to introduce a new product to market with little competition.


Job Requirements
Previous exposure to the utility market’s sales & business cycle

Proven ability to handle more than $10M of business independently and across a large geographic territory

A comfort with CRMs and organization skills to keep frequent detailed reports

Exceptional communication & business development skills

Professional & warm interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, vendors, management, co-workers and subordinates

A ‘can-do’ attitude with the priority of making a difference in the industry
