Job Overview:
Our client is a North American leader in the production of steel. This full time job is responsible for implementing formal lean philosophies & process into their Regina operations. You’ll be working in an environment that is informally accepting of lean and championing the transition.
Working closely with general management and supervisors this is a hands-on role with a lot of time on the floor. We’re looking for a popular leader when it comes to inciting change.
Your previous experience working in lean manufacturing settings and project implementation will be rewarded with a strong base salary and a series of quality bonuses with an annual bonus – all of which will reflect the success of your project.
Job Requirements
A degree in engineering with at least 4 years of project management experience in a lean manufacturing setting
The ideal candidate will have a background in the steel sector and lean implementation
The ability to communicate the benefits of change to a vast workforce and spend more time in the plant than the office.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Self directed attitude towards work, but with the ability to work in a team
